Stingrays Win Inaugural Annie Edison Trophy Anonymous The Stingrays CricSim Club was tonight presented the Annie Edison Trophy for the first time in front of a meagre crowd of just 26. Club president %SJ Cambridge accepted the award on behalf on the team after claiming his second Bannerman Shield five wicket haul on the fourth day to secure a famous win, however the trophy had already been secured earlier with the Horrigan Cup win. The trophy was presented by a stunning-as-always Annie Edison herself to the Stingrays after they defeated the Ravens, and it will be on the line whenever the two clubs meet in a Horrigan Cup contest. Rumours that Edison had been kidnapped by Ravens president %RG Cribb to appear at the event days before were quashed by the girl herself. "It's a great honour to award this trophy, as both clubs involved are truly worthy recipents" she said, before glancing worriedly at a poker-faced Cribb in the crowd. Some were surprised at the small crowd given Edison star power, however an anonymous ex-Ravens player gave an insight as to why. "No-one knew the presentation was even happening tonight. In fact, friends of mine at the Ravens told me they didn't even know about the trophy until they'd lost it already. Probably just more Cribb mind games as usual." One can only guess at the possible explanations for this secrecy, but textbook Cribb lunacy is almost sure to be involved. The reason these two clubs were chosen to compete for the trophy is not yet clear, however rumours suggest is has something to do with a discussion between Cribb and select Stingrays members at the Stingrays club house after their Horrigan Cup selection meeting. Edison went home with Stingray fast bowler %AJ James, who has been forced to hire a security detail as a result.

Thanks for taking the hit on this one tart, I knew he'd be more forgiving if he thought it was you...
