Cribb's role the only downpoint imo. Needing an environment character in order to keep balance doesn't sit well with me at all, seems like an artificial method of making the game last as long as possible.

Everything else was excellent. Will deffo be looking at this game for my next one.

Like when Cevno and GF both visited AVA, and were the prime suspects for Sidious. You would have learnt his target was changed, and he was shrink visited (and that Veri watched). That would have been incredibly useful.

Yeah I wasn't a fan of Cribb's role - it would have been more fair if we knew what he was at the beginning but then again it would have nullified the effectiveness of the role.

Yeah sure, in certain situations it would have been useful. I'd rather have a watcher role though as a player, although I totally understand the implementation of this role particularly given the rest of the game's structure. I was just saying that it wasn't a hugely powerful role as Himannv was hinting at - yeah it could have helped tons but so can most roles at their prime. In general it isn't exactly a town-leading role.

Cribb's role was to shake things up a bit. As was mentioned, mafia was beginning to get a bit stale on here, and I wanted to do as much as I could to shake people's opinions on what could and couldn't happen. Hence Cribb's weird role, items, credits, ventro, fucktons of neutrals, and loads of other weird features.

From a purist point of view, it wasn't as good a mafia game as SWM1, but I think it did what I wanted it to do almost perfectly.

Yeah it was gun to have new elements in the game, and many of them were awesome, but the Cribb one is one that we will look back on as "nice idea, but not in the future."

    You've missed the point. :p

I personally think there should of been a wait time for the death star like a message the turn before its used would be

    Turn 1
"The Death Star has moved in range of [Planet Name]"
    Turn 2
    Fires
    Turn 3
"The Death Star has moved in range of [Planet Name]"

    etc

Was pretty OP as it was, if they would of pooled their money sooner (from the sounds of it some of the sith didn't want to give money away) they would of been killing a lot more a lot sooner, plus the abliity to continue construction/using it after the commander had been killed just made it so strong. A delay would of been much better balance

Yeah but they only had one kill as it was, in a 30-man game with so many information-based roles. I think it worked out fine. Town would have romped it if it was every other night.

  10. Cevno IV Narang

Would have easily taken your role over mine. :p

Things like money and land something that could work really well in a GoT theme. Will be hard to implement effectively though

  12. Eds E Ames

Would be really gun if more people started using items and credits. Lot of work, though.

Cribb you said you possibly coul of been lynched at one point but it seemed very unlikely

Elaborate? Or were you just lying for no reason

I think from my point of view this has been by far the best maf game ive played. My role was perfect for me I thought which helped, and Cribb didn't piss me off in the slightest. Maybe that was because I was probably the only player who took full advantage of it.

MM tried but Cribb fucked him haha.

My EO was to fuck with your heads.

That post was part of that.

  16. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

I don't know how true this is but it really seemed like the items didn't actually do anything?

Apart from maybe the strength boosters did we actually see the items that gave a percentage chance play out anywhere?

One thing no-one ever picked up on was the fact that Athlai's slave was actually a dud. It did nothing. He paid 500 credits for it too.

  18. Eds E Ames

Yeah, a couple of people got slave roleblocked IIRC.

  19. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Was it? That was the one he bought from me - I didn't know this?

Fair enough. So the Rancor had nothing to do with the final fight?

  20. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah you weren't informed; you didn't know. :p

His slave was a lazy bastard though.
