To encourage larger player pools and better prepare ourselves for the sort of numbers we're going to have to need when we expand. They're not really increasing enough for every team to actually need 25 though, tbh. Some players actually have less chance of getting injured under the new system.
Have you already got your own ideas of round about when you think you might start the season Im not asking when obviously, just if you've got some ideas planned in ur ed
I honestly have no idea. I don't want there to be a massive wait of nothing happening like last season, but I don't have any sort of actual timeframe in my head at all. There are still a few players I expect to sign - in fact at least one is expected to play BS - so we couldn't really start the season now even if I just skipped all the offseason stuff.
Fuck it, I'll let them be eligible for BS and HC games. It'll be so rare aside from the Cyclones that it's not worth the unrealistic-ness of it. EDIT: Actually no, I just remembered a really good reason why I decided not to do that. Ignore me. Ineligible.
There was no way I was doing this for nothing. It dead set took me 6 hours. Heaps of it was from memory too because they were pre-Merk (in which case I had to do their batting and bowling styles from memory too). There were also heaps of registered players in the regos thread that were never added to the database because they never signed contract and I cbf; they've now been included. It was a complete vigil.
Good thing we didn't sign anyone to replace Farny when it never ever mattered. You probably could've told us that rather than arguing for weeks
This is seriously the best thing I've ever done. Has opened up so many avenues and will make me a much more relaxed person throughout the silly season from now on.
