As per title would you be disappointed and/or feel the integrity of the sum diminished if the finals series commenced from current season standings leading to a rejuvenated S13?

I think given where everything lies now anyway this would be best. To sim the 2nd half of the season would just feel like another season anyway IMO.
Won't simming the finals slow everything down again? I mean, you'd get a game and then contracts would reopen and who knows how long it would take for each team to get their act together again.
Yeah this is true. If I sim the second half of the season, people will slowly come back in that time and be ready for contracts. I fear we're going to have such a mass exodus next season that I'll have to change the way we deal with uncontracted players anyway though.

Less effective than I'd hope, because I sent one at one point during the break, then cancelled the resumption. People would assume I was the boy who cried wolf. I might send it out after starting it back up rather than before.
