Deserved penalty imo. Would say the same if Cowboys had done it. Was a stupid brain snap at that stage,

At real time though, not worthy of a penalty in my partial opinion.

  3. Toolman TR Man

He fucked up by extending the leg, otherwise it was close to just being a body check.

    Gutted from this loss.

We really lack the presence of a star like Thurston that can take over the game.

Cowboys deserved the win though, so I'm as happy for them as I am disappointed with the Broncos.

Was a reactionary lift that JT ran into. Was in no way a Reynolds.

Those get ignored every week tbh.

Thurston would have tripped over him regardless imo.

These games are shortening my lifespan, I swear....

Nah he left his leg out as insurance. Pretty obvious.

Broncos need to learn how to play in the 2nd dig against Cows

  8. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

    In slo-mo.

    Or second try then. Cunt.

Got Morgan LTS I guess so can't complain too much.

  10. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Milf had proved he can attack at 6, cunt just needs to learn how to defend there.

Doesn't matter so much a trip it was still to me. Penalty any day even if I don't think its on the Reynolds level of bad.

Which I think is what's rubbed me the wrong way. In a game that crucial, a far less.....obvious trip gets pulled up? Leaves a very bad taste in the mouth for mine. Full credit to the Cows though, you take the opportunities you're presented and run with them. I think they were the better side for the majority of the match, I'm surprised we held on as long as we did.

Yeah, penalty sufficient but definitely penalty IMO.

It's a penalty. No two ways about it really. Thurston probably would've fallen over anyway but any motion even of just leaving the leg there is illegal.

The basis of the rule is using the legs in any way to make a tackle. There is no possible argument that can say he didn't do that. Cecchin had a brilliant game. That call and the Ponga obstruction call were both spot on.

  16. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Yeah Cecchin should definitely be in the GF imo.

A bit being said about this after the game last night.

IMO....3 tries that broke our hearts was the O'neil double and the Morgan try. O'neil can thank bad misses by Opacic and Glenn for his and Morgan can thank Thaiday for being easily pushed off by Thurston. They might be on Milford's side.....but how he can be held responsible for those tries is beyond me.

55 missed tackles for the Broncos... that's insane. You usually only see those type of numbers when a team racks up a half century.

    Tackle Busts
    Jason Taumalolo - 11
    Lachlan Coote - 8
    Kyle Feldt - 8
    Justin O'neill - 6
    Javid Bowen - 5
    Kalyn Ponga - 5

Yeah but to be fair you have to take into account the game speed. That was by far the fastest game in a long time and it went full tilt for the 90 minutes. There also were barely any stoppages in the game. It would've been up there as the shortest game of the season.

His spacing in defence is horrednous. Can't really be arsed to go and get some still frames right now but he's 100% to blame for the O'Neill tries.

Stands way too close to his second rower because he's worried about having to make a 1on1 tackle on the opposition second rower. Leaves his three-quarters stranded time and time again.
