    NRR = (Runs Scored / Overs Faced) - (Runs Conceded / Overs Bowled)

    NOTE: If a team is bowled out, it counts as a 50 over innings regardless of how long it actually went for.

    If I make 300 off 50 overs and bowl them for 250 off 42.1 overs =

    300/50 - 250/ 50 = 6 - 5 = 1

    For the losing team

    250/50 - 300/50 = 5 -6 =-1

    I was right.

    I'll work through the other examples if you'd like.
    Was just on my phone so couldn't be assed to explain "how" it works, just showing I know how to work it.

    1st team goes through to the GF, 2nd and 3rd play in a final to see who goes through to verse team 1 in the GF. 4th-8th are out.
