Scarsbrook actually played for England. I don't care if it causes a domino effect, I want this to be fair lol scene starting
He played in a warm up match for Enlgand before the world cup and at the time of the pick, he was eligible as their was no distinguishing between a test and cap in the initial rules.
That doenst matter. You're happy cause the rule has swung in your favour, i tried to select Briers and he was ruled ineligible cause his game for GB was against France.
Not at all, I'm happy to relinquish Scarsbrook for fair compensation. I'm losing out because I need to take a player of lesser value, in my opinion so that should be the punishment for my pick.
Yeah but for example, if you then say you want O'Meley then i have an argument that i wanted player x etc etc. Basically, you ****ed up and if Rob says he is ineligible you will have to make a pick of the players left, its your fault for picking him so early.
Its not going to be fair either way we do it. Whether we make them re-pick this late in he draft, or to an extent...let them keep 'em. But the fairer way is to let them keep 'em. They arent effecting anyone... Truth is if Rob allowed Benny's pick this thread wouldnt exist...
But the other people who picked ineligible players got told to pick again, other peoples fault for not realising....
Afaic. the emphasis is on the person picking to make sure that the player is available. It's just lucky that someone picked up on the ones that were picked up.
I'm just doing my best to ensure there is fairness throughout the draft thats all. I don't want any teams getting an advantage over me because they got away with an ineligible player.
