Don't be a dickhead all your life MF. There were two players under him on both tries. He timed his leap perfectly on both and caught the ball well above them. It was good skilful, athletic play from the Fijian flyer.
They're blockers you idiot. They're not contesting the ball. If he jumped at all he would've outjumped them for god's sake. The first he outjumped a bench utility who is 5' tall. The second he outjumped a 5/8th who is not the tallest either. And he didn't take the second cleanly. He tried to catch it hands first. I give him credit for scoring them and yes he can leap. But he's far from reliable under the high ball as evidenced by the countless bombs he's dropped with no pressure on him. He had a field day against makeshift players who have no place on the wing. He's overrated as fuck by idiots like you with no clue. When Melbourne get challeneged, he is worse than useless. He's a total liability.
You should write for the Daily Telegraph. lol discussing wingers with a bloke who rates Vatuvei as an all time great.
Lol. Of course he's an all-time great you fucking muppet. Everybody (with any knowledge) recognises that. Only racist fuckwits like you who don't.
Anyway.... Milford's problems lie at the feet of Brisbane's forwards pack. He's best when he's playing off the back of momentum and the forwards aren't giving it to him. Hunt's problems are deeper than that......fuck knows what exactly, but shifting to the bench or dropping him all together for a spell, has to happen soon.
Nah it really doesn't. Fuck that. He's the best halfback to partner Milford at the club. He needs time.
Get fucked. Think about the halfback issues before Hunt emerged as a gun. Fuck dropping him and destroying his confidence even more.
Honestly, Milford has been worse than Hunt. I can't wait for the Origin period to be over at the side to hopefully be full strength again.
Hunt and Milford haven't been good lately but I think they're pretty much the least of Brisbane's problems. Absolute derp in both attack and defence from the outside backs has been a big contributor to the slump, but blokes like Maranta and Eden were just filling in so it's probably not worth worrying about all that much looking forward. What's the news on the injuries of Reed, Kahu and Oates? I think the biggest issue has been the defence up the guts though. Not so much missed tackles but just conceding so much ground in the forward battle. It started when Blair and McCullough missed a couple of games but their returns don't seem to have fixed this problem. It's just way too easy to march up the field and get a roll on against Brisbane atm.
I don't think you can underestimate the drain from State of Origin, Mcguire, Gillett & Parker are a huge part of the Broncos defensive unit & losing McCullough & Blair for periods in and around that time just accentuates it. It's all well and good for the SOO players to come back and play the same minutes and post similar numbers but whether they're still doing it with the same effectiveness, intensity & precision is another thing. The mental fatigue would be as big if not greater than the physical fatigue.
Kahu is a lot better than Reed, but is probably more valuable on the wing, if it means no Eden or Maranta. I thought Opacic looked promising before getting injured last time.
Reed is a loss but only because of how shit the wing options are. He's not a big loss as you said, by any means.
