He's not even that bad tbh. MF just hates any brown player with a name starting with V (because he's a racist, jobless, useless, good for nothing waste of oxygen and tax-payer's money.)
I think it's more than that and it's three pronged. 1. He knows that most people on this forum value defence highly and therefore he knows it will get a rise. 2. It suits his agenda of Manu being good and not an absolute liability. 3. He actually doesn't know much about rugby league.
I've seen him make a few but he'll only get better. Also seen him more than make up for them in attack.
The only point there with any validity is the first one. 2. Manu is a bloody legend. One of the great wingers of all-time. That's a fact. 3. I definitely know more about union than league yet still more know about league than most here. I have watched a lot more NZ league than anyone here and know more about the history and players than anyone. Fact.
Mm. It's weird. Brisbane have had so much ball in good field position yet they're getting flogged. The defence has been deplorable.
