Marshall kicks off and its again fielded by Downpipes, he again passes to Heef who busts a tackle and he's away!! He inexplicably offloads to no-one, the ball is picked up by Payten who avoids a tackle by Downpipes and scores in the corner! NOOOO!

11th Minute

Halatau takes the Perry kickoff close to the sideline. Offloads to Farah who breaks the tackle of Jacobs and is brought down by O'Neill. Gibbs takes a hitup. Farah passes to Moltzen who drops the ball cold on his own 40.

The ball is cleaned up by Jacobs and Perry moves to dummy half. He passes to Cambridge who runs with real enthusiasm, he steps off his left and is straight through!! Cambridge has speed to burn and no-one will catch him! He runs between the sticks and dives over the line. The Bears mob him like the second coming of Christ!

12th Minute.

Benji El Masri takes the kick off and charges strongly, the massive unit shrugs off two would be tacklers before dropping the ball! His suspect handling causing him to be a liability.

 

13th minute

Moltzen cleans up the ball. Perry, Burridge, Rogers all make safe tackles. The ball gets spun to the rightn to Ellis who charges forward before being met by Read who rattles his opposite number with a strong tackle. Ellis stays down before limping off. Corey Payne replaces the soft cunt pom.

Jacobs brings down Moltzen, 5th and last!, Farah spins the ball to marshall who steps past O'Neill before Burridge brings him down. Change over.

 

13th Minute

Great play from the Bears here. Jacobs jumps from dummy half before passing to Cambridge who shifts direction from his left foot and goes through. Cambridge is a speed demon and quickly gaps the opposition! He's getting tired though and here come the chasers! He gets there though and scores under the sticks once again!

Jacobs calmly keeps his head and nails the conversion here and the Bears are in the lead for the first time in the match!

14th minute

Read takes the conversion and takes a strong charge to the 30m line. Jacobs passes to El Masri who charges froward for another ten and holds the ball! Jacobs passes quickly to Fung who draws the defence and passes to Gemmell who is straight through here! Gallant comes across to try and bring him down but Gemmell busts the tackle and keeps on going. Marshall reaches him as he crosses the line but he can't stop the big man from scoring. Bears turning it on here in this 2nd half!

Jacobs easily converts from in front of the posts and the bears are ahead 24 - 16
