Round 1 - Central Coast Bears (Cricsim Cunts) vs Wests Tigers

7th Minute.

The ball is kept close to the ruck by Ben Jacobs. Hit ups are taken by Pilgrim and Read before Fung makes an angled run and is caught by the defence, Jacobs then spreads the ball with a cutout to Heef who is brought down milimetres inside the touch line on the 4th tackle. The ball goes back to Perry who makes an average kick and the Tigers start their set on the halfway line.

 

8th Minute.

The tigers play a steady set. Tigers second phase play causing some real issues for the Bears with the back row of O'Neill, Read and Gemmell having to make some desperate tackles to bring down the opposition. Gibbs brings the ball forward and drops the ball following a tackle from O'Neill. Bears begin set 25m from own line.

 

Nah his boot is only size 8.

 

8th minute. Downpipes gets out of dummy half and make a strong charge, gets held and then offloads to O'Neill who looms up in support. O'Neill trying hard to impact the game here. Pilgrim makes a strong run and chews up 10 more metres. Fung is given the ball and offloads to Read who steps but is caught by cover defence. Laing then takes a hitup and offloads to Perry who get caught on the 5th. Fung kicks from the oppositon 40 and angles the ball towards the sideline but waiting is Halatau who takes it safely.

 

9th Minute.

Tigers are held well this set with good defence from the Bears. Marshall get the ball on tackle 4 and kicks from 35m out. A fantastic kick from Marshall!!! Touch and go here on whether its a 40/20! Just misses and the Bears are fortunate to get a scrum 21m out from their own line.

9th Minute.

Jacobs uses his front rowers before they are interchanged. Pilgrim and then Laing take hitups,The ball is then played to Fung who links up with Downpipes who busts through and is away!, he offloads to Jacobs who is then tackled 35m out. Aaron O'Neill darts from dummy half draws the defence and then passes to Pilgrim who is in miles of space! Gallant comes up to Pilgrim who draws the man then passes to Jacobs who has trailed the play nicely. There is no-one between him and the try line!!!!!! The defence is catching quickly, 10m, 5m will he get there!! No they won't! Jacobs carries Moltzen over the line!!!!!
