Christ there are some useless players. McKinnon is so average, any bloke with even a hint of speed would've stopped Jorris. Utai is shit, Heighington is shit. Marshall having a shocker.
Lui's been okay tbh. He's certainly worked on the structural side of his game; I've been impressed. His timing seems a bit out though. Heighington up the middle of the ruck is annoying me more and more with each passing run though. He is a quality player being wasted.
Oh, I know Rob is playing well, I jsut was surprised that Lukic wasn't bagging him out anyway. Agree RE: Heighno. What can you do?
- Start the game with three actual props. Sheens plays the lock as a third prop with a lighter attacking load and a heavier defensive load anyway; I think Gibbs would be ideal but any extra prop would be fine. - At the back end of each half when the game opens up more, use Fulton at lock. Play him up the middle in defence and use him in the middle of the field in attack too, but utilise his ball skills as the opposition forwards tire by using him as an extra link man. Think Ash Harrison in Origin; use him to take pressure off the halves and get the ball wider quickly in a more open contest. Don't let him take many hit-ups. Get the props to man up. - Play Heighington on the right edge. Do not let him play anywhere else. The only downside to this is that he'll play a couple less games for Wests as he pushes for NSW honours. Solved tbh.
