Shit errors, doing stupid shit and getting penalized for it (Petero was fucken frustrating) and being shit all round cost us the game. Still a better effort than past weeks, Macca looked sharp when he had a couple of plays at first/second receiver.
It's quite amazing how downhill Wallace has gone in such a short space of time. He was being talked up for Origin before getting injured. I'm not sure if it's merely that he's in bad form, or that his ephemeral glimpses of brilliance are the actual aberrations.
Definitely but the importance of the players who were out are paramount to the team. Including today stretching back to the tie with the Roosters: Gallen missed 4/5 games Smith missed 3/5 games Wade Graham missed 2/5 games Bryce Gibbs missed 2/5 games Ben Pomeroy missed 2/5 games Todd Carney missed 1/5 games Those are just off the top of my head. I'm sure Frizzell and even Fifita missed some. EDIT: Added the Pom.
He was in the best form of his career earlier in the season, and still wasn't very good. I've always thought he was just shit.
