Who would be in the rest of QLD team? Does Hervey Bay count as SEQ? R Gee (Central QLD) RST Downpipes (Central QLD) C Man (Central QLD) EL Volavola (North QLD) - at least he used to be, dunno if he's moved or not. S Cambridge (North QLD) Vago is in Hervey Bay so he might count for the rest of QLD team. Fairly sure Rocker isn't in SE QLD either.
I want to be dominant, I'm feeling remarkably patient about it as well. I want to be good enough before stepping up, don't want to go in over my head and start poorly and have it negatively impact my whole career.
If you had another half season in ALC you would be more than ready, given you have had more or less 2 full seasons already.
Season and a half so far, and I am fairly confident that I will get some time in BS this season anyway. Unless Robinson has a gun season. I just never want to get dropped from BS, once I'm in I am planning on staying there, and being awesome. (I feel I have heaps of control over that as well.)
I think there has become a bit of culture to protect players for a while in ALC nowadays compared to what there used to be. I only played one season of ALC and that was batting around #6 and not bowling much and yet last season I made the North XI.
