Really don't know why people get excited about stuff like this. All it means is that in a few months, when a game comes out that you want - you can't get it unless you splash out half a grand to buy another console first.
I agree. But it won't be long before my PS3 is outdated and cunts stop bringing up games for it now. I feel like I've just been sent a bill.
Exactly. I was devo when it first came out because it was so expensive and eventually all the games I get yearly either turned to shit or stopped getting made. It took me about 5 years before I got one and even then the bill was fucking steep.
How can you compare the level of PS2 games made now to when it was the latest console. No new big games get made for PS2. The only games that might get made for PS2 is a franchise that goes across all consoles.
As long as they don't do that "You must be connected to the interwebs" that Microsoft are doing, i'll get one.
$500? Is that going to be the price? PS3 was ridiculous when it was released, anyone remember the price? Iirc around 799+?
Where does it say the price? I'd be surprised if it will be 500 dollars. It will surely be at least 800 bucks to start off with.

Well obviously they aren't getting the big name games. I was trying to say that once the PS4 comes out they keep making the old console games for a while.
I'll wait until some decent games come out for it first, already made the same mistake with the Wii. So maybe 3 years after launch?
I exclusively buy cricket and rugby league games though; it's been years since all of those were coming out on PS2.
Apparently you can pause and resume the actual system itself so you don't have to shut down and reboot all the time.
