How much did you have on that? I just had an old fashion $100 head to head bet on Manly. Still happy with my betting for the night obviously but if you had a similar amount on your exotic then you'll be loving it.
Haha for the record it was literally the only bet I put on the match, I had just got paid today and I thought fuck it lets make this more interesting.
Haha, I bet on Williams for FTS as well but I only had $10 on that. $175 profit for the night. I actually thought Souths would win and I was cursing myself for getting drawn in by the juicy odds (2.85 ffs!) several times during that match. Was a funny game really as it had quite a few cases of classic "defining moments" that you usually look back on as turning points in favour of Souths in the first half. That 10 minute period before half time where Manly were on the attack and couldn't score - Rose held up, Matai just short, Stewart just short - really had me thinking "that was it, that was their chance, it's all over".. but then they won comfortably.
Haha yeah I was thinking the same thing when they didn't score during that period. I'm sure there are also people who are so devo if they had Manly 13+ too.
Was a pretty average game I thought. Kimmorley was spot on when Manly went two tries ahead and he said Souths just don't have the ability to play catch up footy. Whilst they play to their structures and processes extremely well there's really not a whole lot of natural talent in that side. Pretty much summed up the game for me.
I turned the game on at half time to check the score and Souths were ahead, as I expected. I switched the channel because I couldn't be bothered watching and then flicked back to the game towards the end only to see Manly were winning. Laughing at everyone I know from high school/uni etc. that jumped on the Souths bandwagon this season.
