What a capitulation. Lead 14-0 and then concede 30 straight points with a GF on the line. Pathetic. Their defence is so bad. They just do not move up. Reynolds and Sutton and Luke were all dreadful. No direction and no control. Credit to Manly for their fight back. Oh and even though it didn't matter, that last call was bullshit. If that's not a try, I'll give it away.

I really don't want the fact that Glenn Stewart was directly responsible for Souths scoring 14 points in the first 10 minutes or whatever it was to be forgotten. Gave away the penalty that led to the opening penalty goal, then missed an easy one-on-one tackle for Sutton to score, and then made a simple error to give Souths the field position they needed for the Merritt try. I'm not sure I've ever seen a worse start to a big match by a player, especially not one with such experience. Hell even Paul Carige waited until the match had settled a bit before having his utter shocker. Manly winning really saved him from some epic embarrassment. To his credit he actually played pretty well for the rest of the game though.
Would rather play Souths.. this wasn't just a one off, their defence has been getting exposed more and more and their dumb cunt players making more and more brainless decisions.
