Can't see the 10 year ban thing holding up.

  2. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

    Lomax -> R360.

  3. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

R360 now bumped back to 2028. What a farce.

  4. Toolman TR Man

And Garrick to the Roosters apparently. But starting in 2027.

    Haas to Bunnies...

I'm pretty devo about it, but realistically, we could probably retain/pick up like 2-3 quality players for what we'd have to give him to stop him leaving.

  6. Magic AJ Parker

    Bunnies spine is cooked.

2m on a centre pairing and another 3m across 3 forwards.

Appreciate Haas is generational but he's also still likely to bugger off half way through his contract.

I would've been spending that money elsewhere..

Bennett couldn't decide on a halves pairing while at the Dolphins and he's done the same at Souths too. Unless someone clearly raises their hand, it seems he has no idea. Dodd was a dud from day one and anyone with half a brain can see that Humphries is too big to be a half, oddly he's almost identical in style to Dodd, just some good long kicking and that's it. Cody Walker's on his last legs. They should've signed Sean O'Sullivan, at least he'd provide something for the time being.

He had O'Sullivan at Fins and wouldnt play him though.

Bennett has been really bad at recruitment for quite a while. The Fifita and Haas pickups are great gets, but it's gonna be like the wooden spoon Broncos side if they can't get some quality in the spine.

Suspect Bennett maybe doesnt care too much about another half from previous success with Shane Perry, Ben Hornby, lesser success of a prelim with Tyrone Roberts at Newcastle. He gears teams up to not need that much from one of his halves (backed Nikorima at the dolphins too). So perhaps he feels hes got the juice at 6 and 1 with trell and Walker and can make do with something make shift/simpler at 7.

May well be an outdated way of thinking (if he thinks that at all). Nearest hes been for a while was that souffs era with Reymolds.

    Apparently Broncos have signed Barnett.

Luai told by the tiges he can piss off. Most over rated signing in years.

  13. Magic AJ Parker

I would love to see Nathan Cleary sign with the Tigers to pay them back for his Dad walking out.

    Poor Tigers fans deserve something...

Theyll probably get teddy onna 2 year deal in 2029 or something pure Tiger

  15. Toolman TR Man

Benji only wants islanders playing there. As if the Tigers weren't bad enough already, that idiot has prevented any building and is going to keep them plunged to the bottom for years. Obviously the club is rotten from the top because no one else would be stupid enough to select that retard as head coach. Oh he's a former player and he wants it so we have to choose him.

I don't think the Tiges are as bad as they have seemed through this little period. Api, KPP, Samuela Fainu, May and Doueihi are their best players and they've not managed to keep them on the paddock. Keep them fit and instead have injuries to their lesser guys, they'd be 8th or there abouts. Similar thing with the Broncos constant re shuffles this year.

I think Bula is over rated and a poor mans Hamiso but:

    1. Bula
    2. Turuva
    3. May
    4. Averillo
    5. Skelton/Makasini
    6. Fainu/Javon Andrews/Luai
    7. Doueihi
    8. May
    9. Api
    10. Pole
    11. KPP
    12. Sam Fainu
    13. Twal

Is a very strong starting 13 for next year. There's an argument that the Mays, Doueihi, Api, Twal and Sam Fainu play origin if they were at a stronger club. The fact that Wests probably keep all of them through that origin period should hold them in a strong position next year if fit.

Can any of y'all make a case for Luai to get a one year deal anywhere? He's such a nob that I feel like he'd rock the boat wherever he went.

Says he wants to stay in Sydney. Can't go to the dogs with Galvin, I feel like Eels don't have the squad to have a ping at a comp next year, Sharks don't need him.

I wonder if he could possibly take Brooks spot at Manly, but not sure its worth rolling the dice/Walsh seems pretty handy anyway.

  18. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

As a player he isn't worth that much. For a one year deal? Hard pass, unless Tigers pay most of his deal.

  19. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

I suspect theyll end up paying up to half his contract

  20. Magic AJ Parker

They're just way too reliant on Doueihi staying fit which will never happen and once a couple of forwards go down they really don't have much depth.
