    I really hope that James Tamou doesn't get punted but is sold for next season. I think the Cows are a genuine chance this season and it's certainly not worth punting Tamou unless there's a gun SL player they want to sign before June 30.

    Yeah Tamou has asked about an early release to Canberra.

    What I think will happen is that it may be granted in a pretty much straight swap for David Shillington (also this season) who is massively on the outer at Canberra.

    Stuart just makes his mind up about players/squad and sticks with it. TLL didn't play a game last when he definitely should have, for example. My guess is Stuart thinks Shillington has declined and isn't worth anywhere near as much as he's on and will command next season.

    Also I think the club sort of wanted to rid the club of the experienced blokes that have been entrenched in mediocrity for the past 6 or so seasons; Glenn Buttriss (won't be re-signed), Dane Tilse (has been moved on), David Shillington (on the outer), Josh McCrone (in reggies), TLL (moved on last year), Terry Campese (moved on last year) and Reece Robinson (moved on last year).

    They're not all shit players but clubs just have to move on sometimes.

    Sucks so much for the Titans, having let go of Sezer due to this. Maybe they'll be able to convince Sezer to stay now instead, but it puts them in a terrible position regardless.
