Official: Seasonal Rugby Incentivisation Scheme

    Proposal for Seasonal Rugby Incentivisation Scheme

    Find a new sign-up who then goes on to make at least 100 [non-spam] posts in Seasonal Rugby and receive a post count boost worth 50 posts. The poster receiving a bonus will be notified at the time the bonus is applied.

    The new member must cite the name of the poster who referred them to the site at the time they do their Seasonal Rugby rego (which must be within that new posters' first 10 posts)

    If the new sign up is suspected of being a multi, you will receive no bonus - this decision to be judged at Admin discretion.

    If a new sign up is discovered to be a multi, you will receive a post-count hit of -50 posts. You will also be banned from Seasonal Rugby for 1 match receive a 10 point infraction for "Multiple Accounts for Simming Purposes"

    Admin decisions are final and any on-forum discussion of Admin decisions on these matters will be infracted.

    At any point in time, if requested [but on no more than a monthly basis] the current list of active bonuses/penalties in the RU Sim database can be displayed.

    I also note Steve's objections - that some people may struggle to benefit from this system, but I would argue that the benefits of finding a decent new member are worth the cost of 50 post bonus, and unless someone finds 20+ new members, then they won't catch up with the top players by this method alone.

    Yeah I think 50 posts is a fair amount to do it. It will certainly help some blokes but as you say recruitment alone will not make them a top player.

    Just a reminder of this. Some of you guys must post on Rugby Union forums, so c'mon - get some new members to sign up. Only 1 sign up has come from this incentive plan (other than just getting existing Cricsim members to join SR, but that's not really what I meant from this). A few more rugby addicts to sign up, and we can pretty much guarantee a 5th team next season.

    What if I got someone who's gone inactive to come back - such as %KP Glensor?

    them making 100 posts too though - what if it was like, 75. might work better?

    Yeah - if you could get Glensor, Stroud or Fisher back, then I'd count that for sure. Those three guys were pretty active in SR when it was last active, so I think if you could get them back, then 100 posts is not out of the question.

    Trust me Panth won't be coming back. I'd probably be the most likely person to get him back (pretty much talk to him everyday) and I don't think I could.

    He doesn't like this place (too much immature fucks trolling etc.)

    I brought them both over here from BR. Reece (fisher) never found it interesting and won't come back. Stroud liked the site however recently has been very busy and isn't even too active on BR anymore so i either of them will come back.

    I talked to him about a week ago and he said he didn't have the time. I did manage to convince him it might be worth coming back to at least sign some contracts ect... So he may come back but only briefly.

    I know he is. I've talked to him on BR since and he admitted that he didn't really like the place tbh, hence my previous statement.

    He just doesn't have the time, he has 2 young daughters, a job and he's doing some website related stuff via correspondence. I'm surprised he has time to go on BR regularly. I think most of the time he's at work whilst he visits BR.

    He wasn't keen on the casualness of this place.

    I do recall when I told him about this place that he said he wouldn't be able to be too active. So it really comes to no surprise tbh.
