Yeah....Ennis only had about 20 try assists this season. He doesn't provide for those around him though.

  2. Lukic L Popovic

Farah only had 25 this season, with 5 less games.

And of course 10 more tackles per game.

    What he said.

This is the best NSW can muster imo:
    1. J Hayne
    2. B Stewart
    3. J Morris
    4. M Cooper
    5. B Morris
    6. Carney/ Campo (if carney doesn't come back as expected)
    7. Kimmorley
    8. Ryles
    9. Ennis
    10. Weyman
    11. N Hindmarsh
    12. P Gallen
    13. L Lewis
    14. J Poore
    15. A Watmough
    16. B Creagh
    17. R Farah

It'd be a pretty simplistic game plan.
In regards to Hayne and Stewart, I really do think that Stewart could make a very good winger and Hayne is just too dynamic to not have at fullback. That one centre spot is causing me some grief. Josh Morris and Jennings are both not the sort of centres I'd want there but other than Lyon, I can't really think of any good safe defensive centres unless you use Lewis there, which I don't want to do.

I don't care what Farah said. You said that Ennis didn't do much creatively.

  6. AVA T Delonge

Tahu could be there depending on how well he finds his feet in the NRL.

  7. Lukic L Popovic

Didn't say he doesn't provide any creativity, just said he's more of a provider to the halves than a game breaking solo player himself.

I generally like Ged's side, but

    - Four props are needed, or at least three genuine props and a second rower who can play up front. Douglas and/or Bailey have to be there IMO.
    - Tahu > J Morris if he comes back near his best.
    - Hindmarsh is retiring from rep footy after the 4N apparently.

Yeah. I'd be more comfortable with him there from your perspective.
Still, it has nothing on the potential Qld side:
    1. B Slater
    2. L Tuquri
    3. J Hodges
    4. G Inglis
    5. I Folau
    6. D Lockyer
    7. J Thurston
    8. S Price
    9. C Smith
    10. P Civonaceva
    11. N Myles
    12. A Harrison
    13. D Johnson
    14. C Cronk
    15. B Hannant
    16. S Thaiday
    17. D Taylor

    Rape to ensue.

    I'd take Qld's seconds backline over nsw's.

    I forgot about Timana.
As for the props situation, Gallen and Watmough are both capable of making enough metres imo. It's basically a trade off of having Lewis and Farah in the side. There's probably a decent argument for a prop to slot in for Hindy now but I wouldn't pick Creagh if that was the case. You guys need someone in the starting side that will tackle to a stand still and Lewis shouldn't be that man imo and Ennis clearly is incapable of it. Maybe someone like Tongue is needed.

Mason will be back to his best next year IMO, he can cover the SR/FR utility spot.

  12. Lukic L Popovic

Farah can tbh, 35 tackles a game and hardly any misses. As well as his flawless offense.

    Such a complete player.

    Lol.

Bellamy re-signs as NSW Origin coach.

  15. Old Mate M Perry

NSW team next year with Stewart fit, Tahu and Ryles back and possibly Gasnier?

  16. Cribbage RG Cribb

    And Bird.

  17. Alec AD Funkotron

Might actually have a competitive series for once.

  18. Old Mate M Perry

    Name one already, jeez.

  19. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

And QLD could be missing Lockyer.
