HAha, nah cribb just said it was complex. I've done a league on another forum for 3 seasons before, therefore familiar with NRR. It's this right NRR = Total Runs Scored/Total Overs Faced - Total Runs Conceded/ Total Overs Bowled
Not entirely correct. If you take all 10 wickets or get entirely bowled out, that counts as 50 overs iirc.
I know he said it, I'm just saying I'm happy to calculate it if needs be, as I know how to (and am ****ing epic at maths, could do it in my head lol :P but I'm arrogant)
Well, I'm actually going back and taking down the number of runs/overs so I can work out NRR at the same time.
STOP DOING NRR! People invariably get it wrongly, mainly due to the fact that if you get bowled out it constitutes as 50 overs regardless of how many overs you face. Just stop doing it. Stop it. Stop it.
I did count that as 50 overs. Notice how there's only two teams who don't have a 50 in their overs column. I'm pretty good with my numbers tbh.
Yeah, I don't trust anyone to do it after the number of times others have got it wrong though, so if I see anyone post a table with NRR again I'll delete it and infract them. I'm lazy enough to just not do it myself if someone else does it, but I don't want that to happen, so don't do it.
