Should be a good game. About time both these teams start getting back into form. Especially Penrith. The last 5 weeks have been pretty dire as a Panther fan. When I think about it though Penrith's losing streak began as soon as they had that bye after defeating the Dragons. Probably were thinking they were all heaps good. Also wouldn't surprise me that all this contract talk has been affecting some of the players particularly Gordon and Tighe. Gordon is firing again and Tighe is due to get back to form. As for the Tigers I have no idea what has happened to them the last few weeks. They have become very inconsistent but I guess you have to expect that with an inexperienced halfback who is actually a 5/8 and an inconsistent 5/8 who only knows how to pass around the back balls. In all seriousness though, what is going on? My guess would be that the completion rates have affected them winning. The silly errors that the Tigers are prone to doing are hurting them and that's why they aren't playing as good. It should be a good game and I am looking forward to it. I just hope Penrith can capitalise on the opportunity the Eels and Sharks have granted them after the Broncos and Roosters lost in their respective games. The numbers game West Tigers have won four of their past six games at Campbelltown Penrith have won their past five games against the West Tigers West Tigers have won their past five games at home venues The Panthers have not been beaten at Campbelltown since 1996 West Tigers have conceded 22 points or more in their past 13 games against the Panthers Late mail Obviously subject to change: Panthers Tim Grant and Luke Walsh have been cleared to play and will take the field. Lachlan Coote is still in considerable doubt but will be given to kick-off. Sandor Earl is on stand-by. Panthers bench is likely to be: 14. Daine Laurie 15. Gavin Cooper 16. Nathan Smith 17. Sam McKendry Masada Iosefa and Wade Graham drop off. Wade Graham will play Toyota Cup. Tigers: Wade McKinnon (hamstring) will be assessed today when the Tigers have their final training session but is in extreme doubt. Chris Lawrence (concussion) is also unlikely to play Keith Galloway (concussion) is in considerable doubt to play Mitch Brown, Daniel Fitzhenry and Geoff Daniela are the obvious backline changes. 2. Beau Ryan 18. Mitch Brown 3. Blake Ayshford 19. Geoff Daniela 5. Lote Tuqiri Should be it IMO will probably be something totally different.
I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not but thanks. I was thinking Tigers would get it and I know that Penrith have been the Tigers bogey side as well but now that I have seen that injury list I think we should be able to win this one. Just as long as Penrith come out not so cocky we should win.
Yeah. If the Roosters won, they'd want Penrith to be on as little as possible since they should finish ahead of the Tigers on F/A and finish 2nd. However with the loss, now they want to keep a top 4 birth which is easier since the Tigers have a shit F/A and are more likely to **** off than Penrith.
So Sheens will do the complete opposite and have Fitzhenry at fullback haha Still seems reasonable but it is a lot weaker than the original.
Wouldn't be surprised. I can maybe see us jagging a win against the Storm if they're already in holiday mood come rd 25. Other than that we're absolutely no hoe;.
