    Ah I was wondering why I died there and I figured it might be due to some strength system which determined the outcome of a duel (much like what happened in SWII Mafia).

    Definitely think there's sour grapes going on. Yes I reckon mafia were slightly overpowered, but you had roles like grannies, and bodyguards, which aren't usual in forum mafia. If you lynched Himannv like you should have, didn't lynch Prez (morgie just tied himself in a knot), or Speirz, and didn't lynch me (understandable though), you'd have been fine. You had things to work with. It wasn't all against you.

    1. Not really. She wasn't an actual cop. Got biased results.
    2. We crucio'd her beforehand. That would be our good play rather than luck.

    Thought you were very good for your first time ITBT. Bit naive for the Speirz lynched but generally you were fine IMO.

    Yeah, imagine Himannv gets lynched d1 like he should have. That stops the Crucio on Tart, meaning that he can carry on being an important town role and doesn't get given the diary. Weeman27bob is also immediately cut off from maf communication and can't do any work for them.

    Then say morgie and Prez had defended themselves properly and there isn't a random nl in the middle, and we could well have death eater numbers dwindle. At the first sign of that, I townside (meaning Eds not only can be lynched, but likely will be as I know who he is).

    Next, Gazza uses his get out clause and does the same. This not only cuts the maf numbers, but Gazza doesn't give anyone the diary and is no longer giving the maf ministry leaks, which in turn means GIMH is useless to them. The maf then are not only being decimated but they're also having to waste night kills on their defectors as well. Not to mention that myself, Tart and Baxter are now all using investigative roles on them unhindered.

    Whichever side started the game badly was going to lose.

    Didn't do much work with my actual role towards aiding the mafia, although I suppose I did give them an extra number. Worth pointing out that when Himanv died, I got Eds in my QT instead.

    Bloody shambles as well. Just as I'd convinced him to pay me for the slight bit of information I did have, he goes and dies.

    Have to say, I thought that was an interesting dynamic to the game. Having the Death Eaters use Snatchers to do their dirty work has a touch of reality to it. You would have been far more useful to us if we hadn't found Potter so early ourselves. After that it was all about cutting a deal with you which ensured that you were still dependent on us for cash, but happy enough to not townside.

    Had already transferred my cash by then so I couldn't pay your fee myself and a couple of others in the QT didn't really want to pay you which is probably why there were delays. Eds did a good job of closing it out.

    I think the fact that we lacked a vig really put us at a disadvantage after a mis-lynch. Could easily have gotten rid of Himannv and scumhunted during the day, as well as getting rid of say Gazza to prevent a majority on last night. Not to mention the horcruxes needed to be incorporated a little better/better explained. An unlychable, unkillable, revivable mafia member that can also kill is pretty fucking OP

    Nah, mariner said that after I got rid of them, I would have killed him upon visiting. But the fact that Eds could still kill me made that a little difficult.
