    it looked horrible but not your typical acl rupture. hyper extended medially really badly. I feel for him and the club actually. guess they'll go harder for Dugan ASAP now.

    Hope this is a blessing in disguise. He had looked good in parts but i hope we either go hard for Dugan, or put Evander Cummings there. If Price shifts Morris or Nightingale there and fucking Vidot comes onto the wing i will rage. Vidot and Stanley defending on the same side would be a disaster. Dont even get me started about Soward at fullback.

    Soward would get better at the defensive positional stuff; I think it's a decision you would've had to have made pre-season though. You can't just give him a week at training and say in you go.

    If they can find the money, and if the NRL let them.

    Frankly I'm sick of clubs sacking blokes for breaching their contracts and then them popping up elsewhere straight away. Canberra consistently do the right thing by the NRL in sacking these blokes even if it costs them long term and the NRL just lets another clubs pick 'em up.

    IMO, if you breach the terms of your contract and get sacked for it, the NRL should refuse to register you for another club until that contract would've been over. Canberra had Dugan under contract until the end of 2014 so it should be 2015 before we see him play for someone else.

    Then they go off to England. Unless Dugan broke the rules of the NRL, he shouldn't be deregistered. He just pissed off his boss, and got sacked. Stupid thinking another club shouldn't be able to sign him up.,

    I can't see a reason why you should prevent Dugan from signing elsewhere. In almost any other context you wouldn't be allowed to prevent a person from taking another job if they were sacked. They'd probably get a bad reference from their previous employer and have trouble finding a new job but that is where the repercussions should end. It is the same with Dugan - he has probably lost a fair bit of money through all of this and he isn't being inundated with offers from other clubs.

    I really hope we do sign him. Just hope we dont go stupid and offer the cunt more then he deserves. He wont go to England if he wants anything to do with his kid.
