    You're being pathetic. Get over yourself tbh. You can't expect to jump ahead of players who have batted well in the BS when you havent even played BS.

    So you have a good record playing in the \_/ and GB trial games. 300 odd runs in 7 games, when one game you got a century to boost your average.

    Clarke has batted 8 once for Australia, no on debut and probably due to a night watchman. He failed ftr.
    To answer your original question though Clarke made his debut at 6, batting ahead of Gilchrist and Warne.

    Your not being used as only a ****ing spinner, your being used because of the added batting depth.

    Smith hasn't picked up enough wickets to justify his place. Your bowling 5 to contain them, unlike Smith who was (4, 3).

    Maybe a little, but the original one was "If you're so set on playing a spinner using me as the only one is a bad decision."

    The second one was "Don't play a spinner and just go with your best bowling attack"

    At 8 FFS, just so unbalanced. Especially when you've got somebody proven at 8 batting 7 and then someone who's unproven, but shown themselves to best at 5 or 6 batting at 8.

    Smith took 49 wickets this season, I took 43. Some of his were even in the BS!!! Shock!!!

    Seriously though, interest in my performances is approx 5% of what it would be if I was batting 7.
