    No idea, I offered Delonte West the max I could for a mid level exception. You'd think we wouldn't mind being a role player on a high potential championship team on more money than going to Raptors on a 1 year deal for less money.

    The worst part isn't that he was a huge waste of money. He was a huge waste of minutes. I'd rather just pay a tiny bit more to get someone who can fill in for a year until I draft the rookie of the year for 2013-14.

    He actually didn't want to join :laugh:

    He said he would join for 3mil but then when I hit offer contract he denied it, It doesn't let you offer more money if they say they are lowering their contract expectations to make a run at a championship

    IMO he would rather join a team looking to go beyond the first round of the playoffs then grab a contract worth not much more. You also have massive competition for positions whereas the Warriors don't.

    I'm not too fussed on missing out on Delonte West. Was probably going to try and package him with someone and trade for a role player + future pick or something anyway.
