Just got tickets to the Sydney Show at Oxford Art Factory. Have one show announced for Sydney, Melbourne and Perth thus far...all late February.
any of you cunts going? I saw Her Space Holiday at Oxford Art Factory a few years back and I don't reckohn there'd be any more than 1000 capacity.
I'm thinking of going to the Melbourne one, funny you should bump this as I was just looking for tickets and only Perth showed on ticketek?
Apparently they're playing Auckland on 16th February 2014. EDIT: Hopefully they add a Wellington date. They've played here twice before, because I doubt I can get to Auckland that weekend.
Still planning on flying over for the Melbourne one regardless but where'd you hear about this? Two Okkervil shows in one week certainly wouldn't go amiss.
Internet search. It was on a legit website though. It had the Australian dates on the same page, with the Auckland one before.
Well you're in luck they officially announced a Wellington show on the 15th of February to go with the Auckland one.
Logistically Auckland one's a lot easier for me to get to. That said got a family friend who spends 3 months in Wellington/3 months back here in Gisborne on rotation throughout the year and really digs these guys so it may behove me to find out if he's in Wellington around that time.
Considering flying to Sydney, seeing okkervil, stay a night. Fly to Melbourne, see okkervil, stay a week, see family. Depending on how much it'd cost me.
