    There are two options.

    - You're an Insane/Paranoid cop
    - You're the fool.

    I've never seen the former in forum mafia, however it's not 'against' harps to do it. I'm undecided.

    It's tough, both of your stories don't hold up incredibly tight. I think we should wait for the others to come on.

    It's also tough, as I don't want someone else to doctor claim as then the real one whomever it may be is readily available for mafia, but if that door's not open we risk losing a potential real one.

    Same for cop really, except if McGrath is doc and you're an insane/paranoid cop, you need him in the game.

    It is likely that he may die anyway due to claiming cop. Don't like the idea of losing our only cop though. Makes the hard task harder.

    I think Furball is fool, he shouldnt be fooling around this early. Whilst its good on the online version, these slower versions are much more suited to a slower game

    I am not sure who is telling the truth - there must be a counter claim out there for one of them. It is more likely that someone would keep quiet and not cc doctor - than someone would keep quiet and not cc doctor. That leans it towards GF telling the truth.

    However McGrath has been quite thorough in his claim by naming who he saved which means if the watcher was on that person (who he saved) he would be confirmed or denied. So he is either brazenly taking risks or he has nothing to hide. That said the chances of the watcher being on the person he 'saved' is 1 in 20. So this was a minimal risk to take.

    I am not bothered by the fact gF was joking about lynching McGrath before the game started - that just gave GF the motivation to investigate him 1st night.

    Lynch McGrath unless someone comes out makes a counter claim. And if he, GF, is fool then the real cop should come out.

    If McGrath isn't screaming scum, I don't know who is. He is using the "no one has cc'd me so I am right" excuse whilst also completely dismissing that excuse on GF and telling a vig to get him. And as soon as a fool was mentioned he jumped straight on it and started telling everyone that GF was a fool.

    Which is exactly why McGrath hasn't countered my claim with an "I'm a cop" claim of his own.

    If McGrath countered my cop claim with a cop claim of his own he knows he wouldn't make it past day 2. Regardless of which way town went, he'd wind up dead because lynching me would reveal my role and vindicate my accusation. Hence his claim to be doc - he knows he won't get a counter claim on that because the real doctor outing themselves would be stupid.

    13 out of the 17 people left have replied to this thread, and no-one has yet countered my cop claim. No-one left who's town will do so, and it would be stupid for someone who's mafia to do so because I've already fingered one of them. Fake claiming cop now would merely paint a target on two of their backs.

    Because voting with nl or McGrath is to risky atm when we still haven't had everyone post and I know no one is going to vote Skippos atm.
