He still has a lot of shit games Bigging him up after hes had a good games is just as bad as people who pipe up when he plays shit
Don't take that as me not rating him ftr, I've really enjoyed how hes been getting on this year but hes had a load of anonymous performances
After Suarez hes been our most consistent player this season and he had a good season last year as well Obviously, still areas to improve on but I'm delighted for him.
No coincidence that he was the signing from Dalglish's summer of madness that Rodgers kept. He's got a lot of talent. Could be an asset for them if he gets that consistency you allude to. Will probably go the World Cup too.
Yeah as mouse said he's been our second most important & consistent player this year (I'd probably argue he's behind Mignolet as well but that's not really an insult). Contributes in every single game defensively simply because of his outstanding work rate. Plus, veri, I'm certain you've probably seen me bigging him up before, I've been doing so even before this season (although granted he has taken a real step up this year). Today was his best performance thus far but most Liverpool fans really, really rate him. Still don't understand how Uncle Woy continues to prefer Cleverley.
Am pretty sure this is the first time we've beaten a team in the top 6 since the start of last season. (Am not counting Stoke & Villa)
Because Cleverley can... does.... will.... could..... Pass (that's at the question, not something Cleverley does)
Yeah it's very strange. In his defence he did have a good game today... certainly looks alot better when he pushes forward
Having watched a replay I reckon Spurs were unlucky not to get two penalties. Fairly blatant shirt pull on a corner early on in the game and Townsend was taken out as he was getting to a cross early in the second half.
They were also lucky not to concede 3 or 4 more goals though. That has to be their worst home performance of the past 20 years. Spectacularly shit.
Cleverley work rate and defensive ability is underrated. At first I thought that might e why Roy picked him, but Roy was playing him as a CAM so I have no idea what he was thinking He's someone who no one will ever mention when he has a good game but everyone will shit on if he has a bad one
FMD Suarez is a little bit good. FMD Naughton is a little bit shit. Back four were woeful. Laughing at the deluded gooners fans is still valid, I have been a spurs fan long enough to know we have that level of shitness in us and I don't pretend that we automatically deserve a top four spot.
