It's not that ****ing hard to stand back 10m ffs.

  2. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Go Gasnier. 5m per hitup.

  3. Howsie DP Howell

    Tim Grant, possible broken fibula.

    Ouch.

  4. SM MD Dorn

    Called it so early

Any reason why Smith dropped out of the Dragons side?

LoL at Purtell. He was too busy laughing at Soward that he got bamboozled by Priddis.

  7. Hunter AD Hunt

    Priddis proving his godliness.

    You are kidding? Damn.

Wade Graham with both of Penrith's linebreaks so far this game.

    Running Game > Passing Game

Yeah, Gasnier was really shitty. Not surprising since it's his first game back, but still shitty.

  11. GYR DW Lewis

Hahaha **** yeah, that won me 340 bucks.

Awesome. Wasn't the greatest win but it is more than what I expected. I was doubting Penrith would win and they did it. I am stoked at the moment. I know both teams were understrengthed but I am sure that the Dragons were less. They still had their main play maker plus their 7 & 9.

Graham played well and will be 5/8 next week. Burns can get ****ed, he does nothing week in and week out. I was impressed with Simmons and I am glad he is a Panther but he won't be around next week unless something happens to Gordon or Elliot decides to drop Purtell. Purtell was pretty dire tonight and isn't doing much for us this year. I thought Earl had a good club debut and I am also glad he is with us. Should get a minimum contract next season. Nice to know that when/ if Tighe and/or Elford leave we have two ready made replacements without having to go and find someone.

Coote's goal kicking wasn't that great but it did the job. Dragons tried to make a comeback but they looked like a different team tonight. They were out enthused b Penrith. Dragons will bounce back after the bye though and will be back to normal. Darius Boyd missing obviously really affected them.

Good on the Penny Panthers and I am stoked we got that win. With the rep players as well as Walsh coming back next week, I am confident Penrith can defeat the Warriors at CUA.

Our kicking game is so shit with Graham. He loves to kick, but he's got nothing... from all his kicks tonight he got one where it should be and it resulted in the Simmons try. Coote should have been kicking more, his only kick was pretty good and got us a dropout.

Gasnier played a good game.. what was it 3 errors, no breaks, nothing in defence?

Graham's long kicking game wasn't too bad. It was his short kicking game that was the issue. I would of liked to see him run the ball on the last a little more though. Bring back Walsh to shift Graham back to 5/8.

I would prefer Burns purely on the fact he stays out of the way when it comes to kicking, he lets Walsh do it, Graham wants to get involved and do it though, even though he is average at it.

I thought, considering how much of a big loss Walsh is, Graham tried 110% tonight to try and fill Walsh's shoes, and Kudos to the man, he did his best, that's all you can ask.

But yea agree, hopefully his head shrinks slightly, and he doesn't try to be the main man next week with Walsh back

    Running on the last more?

How many tries have the Panthers scored from kicks this season? Reminds me of that post where you said you wanted the Panthers to score more from passing >_>

Solid effort from the Panthers. With that said, the Dragons were flat as.

Well 10 metres out and without Walsh, I would of preferred the ball being thrown out to the wings. Would of been a better result than caught in goal and back to the 20. If Walsh was playing though, kicking it would of been fine for me.

And Flack, I agree to an extent. I would rather Graham purely on the fact that he is a better player than Burns. If anything, I don't think Burns gets involved enough. Graham needs to play. I don't mind him kicking on the last as long as they are long kicks, his short kicking game is dire. Only one pulled off last night and that was the one that lead to a try.

Also agree with SM that Graham will need to take a step back to let Walsh back into the side. However, he will need to take more control from Lewis IMO.

Best defensive effort I've ever seen from Penrith, granted it was in wet conditions and the Dragons were average, but there was some real sting in there defence, a good game to watch. Pritchard playing some good footy now that he's looking for a contract, good to see there's competition for spots with everyone putting in a big effort.
