Start this early. Both teams understrengthed but it seems Penrith are a lot more weaker. Penrith are missing: Civoniceva Lewis Jennings Gordon Walsh I am also hearing Burns will miss out with a hamstring injury. Joseph Paulo is the obvious replacement. Blair or Trindall are options though.
Do you have a source or are you just guessing? I was confident he would play. I guess if Burns is ruled out there is probably a good chance Walsh is going to play.
So do I. If he doesn't play though and Burns doesn't either, I see a really good opportunity to blood Harry Seijka. Is only 16 I know but just having one game will do his game a world of good and he will know that he is being noticed.
Yeah I know. It would be huge. I just figure we have nothing to lose. It could also ruin his career though. As far as we know though, Elliot knew Burns was under an injury cloud and has been preparing someone since Tuesday.
If Walsh couldn't play I'd throw Blair at 6, cross my fingers, shut my eyes and hope he has a half decent game.
My bad. I guess he was 16 once . Either way it would probably be a bad move it is just one of the ideas being thrown up. I should be able to give you some confirmation soon. I would also think that he would be the safest option. Putting Seijka in was more of a possibility but far off and would be stupid suggestion. Blair would have to be safest. I am predicting Paulo will play there though unless as Frizzed said Walsh is fit.
You can rule out Seijka even though we knew he wouldn't be playing. He is playing currently. You can also rule out Blair as a 5/8 option as he has a neck injury. This pretty much makes it certain that Paulo will play 5/8 unless they rushed in Trindall to play halfback and Graham at 5/8. The last option I think is possible is Coote to 5/8 with David Simmons going to fullback but then that would mean we would need another centre. Pretty sure it will be Paulo now. Just though then, Iosefa is also an option.
