What are our options here?

A: We lynch Arheiner, but he is town.
B: We lynch Arheiner, and he is maf.
C: We no lynch

In case A, it means one of three things:
- Escath is lying, and is scum himself
- Escath was telling the truth, but got roleblocked by Maf
- Escath was telling the truth, but Arheiner wasn't maf but just some super strong townie who was immune to whatever Escath's night ability is.

I think we have to know what it is that Escath tried to do. Then the options are either roleblocked or Arheiner being immune. Based on Escath's ability, Arheiner being immune hints at his allegience.

I dont like the 'lets lynch Arheiner now and if he is town we lynch Escath next' logic, mainly because Escath's un-countered CC kinda verifies that he is Town. We'll just end up lynching two townies.

I think the odds of one of us being roleblocked are fairly low too. Literally 1/20, and that too relies on the assumption that there is a roleblocker to begin with. If Escath's ability is such that being immune to it implies mafia, then I am willing to take the risk of lynching Arheiner myself IMO.

We also really need some sort of solid defence from [MENTION=31]Arheiner[/MENTION] too. He hasn't really said much to get the suspicion off him, which is a pretty terrible move if he is indeed a townie.

 

Yea 1/15 or 1/16, fair enough. Still slim odds.

No one else has claimed to being roleblocked yet either, but then again doing so would be revealing you actually have abilities.

The lynch count is pretty high atm - 7 I think? He could feasibly be lynched off by the end of the day. And we're just going on talking about him and wasting time. If he came out and defended himself now, it would take the heat off him and we could focus on other people - such as the bandwagoners who jumped on his lynch early on.

I reckon its poor town play if he has been able to be online and follow the discussion, and chooses not say or do anything to defend himself beyond 'yea I'm innocent Escath probs is roleblocked k bye'.

 

He also immediately stated that he'd gone nowhere and no one has suggested otherwise. This is a properly stupid lynch.

 

Eh...I'm just as suspicious of people with one or two posts.

 

[MENTION=31]Arheiner[/MENTION] not speaking up has been a shit town move IMO. Could have easily killed off discussion by making a character claim of some sorts. We could have then scumhunt the silent ones slipping under the radar. Only reason I would see for him not doing so is him being either maf/third party, or being a super powerful townie who doesn't want to out himself yet. If its the latter, then he already has the Maf's crosshairs on him now. So shit move all over.

How many lynch votes on him atm? And who all have not contributed anything so far to discussion?

Notice the overlap between the quiet ones and the lynchers.

Only 3 more lynches till Arheiner is dead too.

 

Also FTR my post counts include those from before day-phase began. Quick and easy way to do it. If someone can count actual posts made since day phase began, that would be far more useful. I reckon quite a few guys with 5+ posts have made most of their posts in the early pages of the thread.

I'm all for random lynching one of the bolded names. Especially Farhat. He behaved the exact same way in ME mafia - jumping onto lynches, staying silent - and turned out to be maf himself. Very sus.
