Most recent one I watched was PJ20.

Love watching ones on animal abuse/trafficking/shark hunting/poaching. Makes my blood boil and I feel superior to other humans for those 50 minutes.

The thing with a number of food ones is that they're incredibly biased and don't represent the whole industry

People should watch the king of kong (a fistfull of quarters), was quite good

That the one about breaking a record on a DK game?

  5. Roaddogg AJ Izett

the one where iceman Richard kuklinski is being interviewed.

Yeh Food Inc was pretty interesting. Certainly questioned everything I buy from Coles and Woolies after watching it, still do. I know it's no where near as prominent in Australia and certainly not to the same extent but given the prices we pay at the big supermarkets and the continual lowering of prices either the quality of the product is being compromised or farmers are being exploited. Neither of which I can really justify to save a few dollars.

Finally got around to watching InsideJob (documentary about the financial meltdown in the US). Thought it was also very good, definitely worth the hype it received when first released. .

    I watched:
'The War on Domocracy' a film by John Pilger last night. It looked at how much the USA aren't truly for democracy in other nations and how they're right behind and often involved in coups against democratically elected leaders. Some prime examples in Venezuela and Chile. Some of the stuff that links the US with the attempted overthrow of Chavez is ridiculous.

Pretty much right on board on the anti America bandwagon now, cunts are fucked up.

Continuing on with my doco watching theme, I watch 'SENNA' last night, which of course is the story about 3 time F1 champ Ayrton Senna who died at 34 in the San Marino Grand Prix.

Very well put together doco and an interesting insight into F1 racing, Senna seemed like a bit of a legend, it's a pretty sad story when you hear his interviews and things, speaks a fair bit about how much more he's got to accomplish in life and racing etc etc not long before he dies.

Senna is a fantastic documentary. Captured the rivalry with Alain Prost very well.

Watched the movie 'Ghandi' over the weekend. Not exactly a doco but a depiction of his life. Pretty enjoyable, I never even realised that India and Pakistan gained independence at the same time and why Pakistan came to be.

Have hired some John Pilger's Australia and No middle ground in the middle East as well as: the Cove, Murder on a Sunday morning and one other that I can't recall to get through this week. Am glad I have started getting into docos rather than mind numbing flicks or TV shows.

A documentary called Thin Ice is available to watch for free on the website at the moment (I think - it says available for free for 48 hours from the beginning of Earth Day, but have NFI when Earth Day is)

I haven't watched it, but it's a documentary about Climate Change. I'll probably watch it when I've worked out when Earth Day is:

    http://thiniceclimate.org/

"More than six years in the making, Thin Ice is a response to climate sceptics and a compelling look at the changes taking place in the Earth‘s atmosphere, oceans and ice sheets. It documents the hopes, fears and sense of urgency driving scientists studying these changes. "

It could be quite sciencey. Not sure.

    Earth day is today.

Ah. Then it's free to watch on that website for 48 hours from today then. Might watch it tonight.

Been watching lots of John Pilger stuff and he's really big on anti America everything. You got any good ones? Wouldn't mind learning a bit more abot Yugoslavia if you've got any recommendations.

Also Israel seem to be real cunts. Have watched 'Palestine is still the issue' and 'Suicide Killers' this week. Palestinians have it so shit over there.

It's an easy bandwagon on which to jump. I'm as critical of US foreign policy as anyone but it doesn't make me anti-American. The US isn't doing anything that any other superpower or empire hasn't. The British, the Russians, the French, the Germans. It's been going on forever. It's America's turn to be the worst and most violent. Soon it'll be China's turn and I hope I don't need to tell you what that administration is doing to it's own people as well as people beyond it's borders. It's just how power works. Expound rhetoric about your commitment to freedom and democracy all the while supporting unmentionable killers and war criminals.
