    I was at a friend's place and happened upon this too. I'd love to know wtf is going through the mind's of people who want Newstart cuts. Particularly as a way to balance the stupid fucking budget. What a ridiculous notion.

    Meanwhile, unctuous cunts like these cut 15,000 public service jobs, earmark several of them for sons and daughters of their cronies, and then give themselves pay rises whilst selling off all the assets.

    Half way through watching a doco called 'Al-Qaeda' seems to be 3 1 hourish specials from US/Canada.

    First one was really interesting, talking to the family of a guy who died in an Al Qaeda gun fight and was mates with Osama. Whole family were Canadian citizens but all lived in Pakistan except for one son who scooted back to Canada and ditched the whole extremist life and helped the CIA and was in Guantanamo as a spy (or so he said).

    Was pretty cool, showed the history behind Tilikum and how he became aggressive towards humans. Basically got treated like shit and beaten up by the bigger whales as a calf. Has some pretty graphic stuff.

    Watched 'Thin Global, Act Rural' was all in French and was along a similar line to the movie 'Food inc.'. Thought it was really good, sees me one step closer to starting my own mini organic farm.

    Watched 'The Tillman Show' last night. Excellent doco goes through detailing the coverup of former NFL player Pat Tillmans death from friendly fire and the consequent cover up to achieve political propaganda. Made me so angry watching rumsfield and co's bullshit testimonies at the end.

    I went through a bit of a phase of watching zodiac/BTK documentaries on youtube, thought it was interesting.

    Watched Louis Theroux's hooker special thing last night, was pretty interestingg, he's a bit of an awkward fucker though.

    Will probably try and get a hold of some of his other stuff, I remember him doing a show/episodes/whatever with some christian fanatics in USA that hold the 'god hates fags' signs on highways and thinking it was pretty good.
