    Day Two

A man stood up and pointed at the svelte fellow two rows in front of him. "I DENOUNCE YOU" he shouted to audible gasps from the packed auditorium. The man looked around, expecting that the denunciation was directed at someone else, but he noticed that the people sitting near him were shifting away. He didn't know what to say, but he would not take this lying down. "Pshaw!" He shouted in reply! "You are simply an enemy of the arts! No right minded comrade could think me a dissident!" But his reply was too late. A group of other Conference attendees had either decided to support the motion in self-preservation or they truly thought he was a dissident.

He was taken away. When they searched his apartment, they found dissident material. But of course, they always find dissident material.

Rudolf Nureyev has been denounced. He was played by Athlai

The 2nd Party Conference closed in confusion. Nureyev was a popular man with the Proletarian masses. If he could be an Anti-Statist, then anyone could be.

The 3rd Party Conference is being scheduled. Night Begins.

    Well that achieved nothing.

Some night orders would be useful to progressing this.

    Night Two

He'd given himself a profile at the previous Party Conference. He'd denounced the dancer on no real evidence, other than fear that he was leading the Party, well, a merry dance. This had put a target on his back and during the preparations for the Third Party Conference, his apartment was busier than the cells at the Lubyanka.

He'd shown himself to be valuable to the dissidents, as people were willing to listen to him. This made him 'bourgeois' according to the Party Machine, and it was no surprise that they would hunt him down. And they would take no chances - hang the consequences, they had to take him out.

The General Secretary was willing to get his hands dirty over this one. He planted a bomb under the dissident's car and lingered in a local alley way to see the fruits of his labours. The dissident duly came, turned the ignition and was blown into a thousand pieces. In the shadows, another man lurked, brandishing a gun - ready to fire - but the work had already been done for him. He walked away with a look of confusion on his face. Even the doctor that had been keeping an eye on the dissident and who was willing to help him if necessary, was unable to save the victim.

Things were going to plan as far as the Party Machine was concerned. The dissidents were gradually being whittled away. The General Secretary was very pleased. He called the head of the MGB, Viktor Abakumov. That's strange, thought the General Secretary. Abakumov wasn't answering. He called his guards to fetch the former head of SMERSH immediately, fearing that Abakumov was starting a coup.

Abakumov could not be found. Three weeks later, he was found by a fisherman on the Volga. He had been suffocated and dumped in the river.

Wouldn't be against lynching arheiner, got some breathing room thanks to that killer hit.

  10. Jabba HJ Bots

So we have a doctor alive by that write up which is good

Did they get a look at the person?

Might be a gg for the game if others aren't gonna bother to contribute.

What was the issue with arheiner?

Do think that lynch is obviously now a much better proposition even if the evidence is not hard. 5/7 town and 2/7 not (if the 3 maf estimate by whoever initially was right)

  13. Skippos SM Morgan

There is probably a third party too who we'd be relying on to townsidr

No this is not a grievous

  14. Arheiner SIA Yates

There's 100% a third party who's at the very least accidentally townside. Also since there appears to have been a third kill attempt, we can assume there's 3 characters at least capable of killing, and at least one of them definitely isn't mafia, and from the patterns we can conclude one is probably a vig.

Good to see another red fall...

    Players to do something.

Well that makes the odds even better 4:3. Since no one has anything, let's RL. How about an inactive cast member?

  18. Number 11 CJ Downes

I still don't like arheiner for his earlier screw up and I still reckon skippos is acting a little strange. If we're going the inactive route then flem is probably the go.

  19. Quaggas O du Toit

    What exactly was the screw-up?

  20. Number 11 CJ Downes

We were trying to verify Howe's double vote claim and he added a lunch vote so we couldn't. Claimed he didn't read it or whatever but that's sloppy play even if he is a townie and maybe indicative of something more sinister? Was going on about the killer earlier a bit as well so I'm suss.
