Yeah, but what about his general defence? Sometimes he looks like a speed bump out there. And anyway, the way you said it, it almost sounded like you meant that his defence is the best thing about him as as a player.
not the best thing about him just what i admire the most. even if he is a speed bump half the time he still puts heaps of effort and will gladly run from the other side of the field to save tries.
I think his defence is overrated, because people see him put on one solid hit etc etc. I dont think Stizyler is saying he is the best defender, just that he likes his desperation in defence.
I still don't understand how Thurston outscored Kimmorley in the Dally M's. If Thurston was the halfback for the Dogs this year he'd have won, he's the golden child for the NRL.
Because he knows what I said was true. When the cowboys win, 100% of the time, Thurston has a big part in the win. I never said he was the reason they won, I said he has a big part ie, one of 3 players aka worthy of getting some Dally M points from it.
Not really, I am not talking about long term consistency. I am talking about those 8 weeks where Hayne was consistently the best player on the field in those games and got him the Dally M.
What about them? Name someone else who was as consistently dominant as Hayne across more than 8 weeks?
Soward and Kimmorley dominated this year, i don't particularly like either of them (and im a big Hayne fan) but they deserved the Dally M over Hayne
I disagree with Kimmorley and Soward. Individually they weren't as dominant, they had help from the players around them IMO.
So you think kimmorley and soward played at the level Hayne is playing at ATM? I have already admitted the 3-2-1 system is flawed..
