Yeah. Batted 3 for nsw when he was sent back there when dropped from the test team a few years back. Batted at 4 in the test team a while back also.
Solid, but it seems as though you've filled your team with solid duders from the start while others have picked the gamebreakers. Prior as first pick ****ed you severe IMO as it means you won't get one of the top 10 opening batsmen, spinners or even pure top order players.
Yeah. I don't mind this team but it's definitely heading for a mid-table finish. All those batsman can move up one but still needs some gold picks in the rounds to come.
I really like Franklin and he'll be rated well, but in this role it is a bit questionable. To win games Farny will need the team to line up like: 1-3 genuine top order bats 4 Clarke 5 Collingwood 6 Prior 7 Morkel 8 Franlin 9-11 bowlers
Franklin surprised me TBH, but there are some real gems on the County Circuit and those doing their respective domestics as i've found out, so he could still go nicely.
Yeah I would agree about Franklin especially to use him at 9. It does give you a deep batting line up but IMO 9 is really about their bowling and not sure it is really still up to it.
Pfft, I have pretty much the best test bat in the world, the best 20 20 bowler in the world, and solidity in between bottom half beckons
20/20 bowler means natta! Admitted though you could still do very well if you recruit wisely from now on in.
Ajinkya Rahane, quite possibly the best domestic batsman in India, added to bring some youthful exuberance to contrast with the steely professionalism of Colly and Clarke.
