1. Manera 2. McGrath 3. Morgan 4. Downpipes 5. Gemmell/Gee/Chewie 6. Deane 7. Morris 8. Faithful 9. Funkotron 10. King/Farnsworth/Blunder/Cambridge 11. Ridd Right now? Gemmell perhaps struggling to hold onto his place this season. Averaging 35 in BS, and 40 in rep but with no hundreds. Chewie's form worth keeping an eye on. Ged is having a distinctly average season but is the only specialist spinner with real pedigree. Fast bowling places are a bit of a toss up but I'm pretty sure Ridd should play based on his rep season.
Main contenders off the top of my head.. McGrath Morgan Manera Downpipes Gemmell Deane Hornby Gee Chewie Morris Ridd Funkotron Faithful Anyone of about 15 bowlers
Notsureifshotatmyselectionpolicies. assume it's not - if he performs for the rest of the season his career/early/late season might be enough. from what I gather north/south is more about longevity and history <_<
He's gone backwards quickly. Was ranked ahead of myself and Tarty not long ago but any semblance of form has dropped of the Earth
Yeah but a Chung selection would be fairly short-termist in itself given he's only been a BS regular this season, so to pick him in poor form would be a bit silly. What actually happened is that he went away on holiday and suck to about 80th on the activity ranks, lost form then and hasn't recovered it even since moving back up to his rightful spot in the top 20. Now the activity shit is irrelevant to his selection but if the team was to be picked now I don't think it'd make sense to include him over Ridd, Edwards, Blunder or Cambridge.
Do you not think the activity rankings have got a bit short termist then? Anyone should be able to have a couple of weeks holiday without it having a significantly detrimental effect on their player.
Yeah, agree. Didn't say he should be selected just said he's an outsider, which he is. Cheers So it looks like I'll make it then? next stop, test team <_<
