DG Speirs came ever so close to a century in each innings as his side had a narrow victory over the Stingrays. His efforts rewarded by the judges while the Vipers returned to the winners circle with a heavy defeat of the Pumas.

JP Thornton remained out front though after nine rounds, leaving many questioning if he could possibly be caught.

Round 10

SA Flack closed in slightly on JP Thornton as the Pumas captain picked up one point as his side defeated the Gamblers and, in the process, essentially handed the rookie side the wooden spoon.

While they had that end of the ladder taken care of, the Stingrays were continuing their charge to make the finals, handing an 8 wicket defeat to the competition leaders.
