    ROUND 7

Halfway through season 9 and the Vipers completed an impressive feat, defeating all other teams in their first seven games. Although it wasn’t easy going for them as the Gamblers, spurred by a sudden return to form by Brett Kennedy, took them to the wire.

JP Thonton and DG Speirs reaffirmed what many already knew. That these two are the best opening partnership in the competition. Speirs scored a cracking second inning century against the Ravens while Thornton was in superb form, scoring a brilliant double century as he took his season runs past 1000 and overtook DA Eggman on the leadboard.

Vipers def Gamblers by 16 runs

    How's it going Eggman?

  18. Jabba HJ Bots

I thought the Ravens bet us by 1 wicket in round 8? Surely they shouldn't get all 6 points if that is the case.

  19. Eds E Ames

If I can get to ten points, I'll be delighted.

  20. Eggman DA Eggman

    About 6 inches...
