    Is there any confirmed changes to this season. For example the pitches being able to add or subtract 2 points off each assistance thingo like we once had?

    I always thought that was a ripper idea and it put more emphasis on squad selections and more thought in the selector.

    I couldn't find the thread for all this to bump it.

    Season 7? Or something like that. It was really cool, really put a meaning to playing at home as you could fix it according to injuries, players in form or what the other team is or is planning on picking.

    Sounds a good idea. Only drawback would be with the simming schedule if someone doesn't get their pitch change in on time. I guess it'd be fine though as I'd expect that there's a default that applies if no changes are submitted.

    Yeah, you'd implement the same rules for inputting your pitch as you would for your squad. Although I doubt there would be many if any at all who put their squad in and then their pitch later.

    its a good idea and i can see the appeal tbh, adds something extra to it especially as you could work your team round it

    So why are most squads 22 ?

    You get fill-ins if you don't have enough. It's better having exact numbers, or less than 22 to you don't have people sitting out and not playing at all.

    You can have more than 22, but some may not play. Usually very inactive and poor players. You usually have at least 11 players, but often in reserve grade you have fill-ins, usually ex-players.

    It's not a new idea you ****s, I came up with it ages ago and we had it for a season or two.

    Not happening this season though.
