Like how players qualify. Did Rogers, Thornley and Wright grow up in NSW or are you just making assumptions?
Well Thornely was born in New South Wales, has only ever played in New South Wales and currently lives in New South Wales.. so where else would you put him? Rogers and Wright both played junior rep cricket for NSW (Under 16s I believe?) if I'm not mistaken. They were certainly born there though - I've only moved players away from their birthplaces if I'm actually aware that they've grown up elsewhere. If I'm not aware they get shunted in where they were born.
Actually am genuinely curious. I don't think they ever played FC cricket for us, so it's hard to say whether they grew up here. I believe it was were they grew up (and fair enough, too), but there's some players which I have nfi about.

lol over-tired, meant Harris tbh. Thornley would obviously qualify. Fair enough of Rogers and Wright though. Guessing Harris is in the same boat.

JW Hastings 9. B Lee 10. MA Cameron 11. TA Copeland Others: GD McGrath B Lee NW Bracken Too many bowlers but still not a shit side. It's amazing how many fast bowlers from NSW have been taken. And there are still a couple I reckon people might take.
I think someone said on CW that Harris moved to Adelaide in his mid teens. So he's iffy. It's not a clear and obvious case of moving someone from their birth state though; I'm pretty sure he'd consider himself a New South Welshman (I bet his Queensland team-mates do too ).
We really need one more batsman of a good standard and I reckon that that would be a really competitive team.
