I've finished the batting side of the database and I've been playing around with lots of stats and formulas today, so I thought I'd do something "fun" with and count down from 22 to 1, the best batting lineups statistically. One thing I will say is that if you're ranked lowly here you shouldn't change your first XI and bring in reserves thinking you're a genius and that I've given away that your starting side is wrong - because it's based on each team's statistically best top seven (plus their four nominated bowlers) given their their whole squad. Not the first elevens people have posted. Changing your first eleven will have 0 effect. Anyway, every few minutes I'll post the next team up.
Interesting. This is for the best batting rated balanced XI, or best batting rated top 6? I think Fung and I have got a very strong XI from a batting point of view, but the top six less so. EDIT: Ignore me. Read the ****ing Opening Post. Think we'll be mid-table from a top seven PoV.
I'd really like to rate the elevens instead, but people would react and change their elevens if I did that. Don't want to give too much way and make it unrealistic.
