Clubs should be given a certain amount of money, let's call it TV rights deal. Club can decide to do with it whatever they want. No need to bring in a stupid draft or anything like that.
This is what we should be working on then, not trying to cover that up with a salary cap. CricSim was at it's best in it's first few seasons - people gave a lot of shit back then, and there was barely any swapping.
We had sweet fa clubs then, fewer members which led to tighter rivalries and all that lovely stuff. Now the people from that period are the minority. Times have changed bruz.
I wouldn't say club atmosphere is gone. It's just that there hasn't been any simmage in over a year. I wasn't here for the first few seasons so I can't comment on that, but from the season and a bit that I have seen, there is still a lot of rivalry going on. Once/If CricSim starts up again, we should see it return. You can see it happening in IHS. When there was simmage, people actually gave a fuck about their clubs. When it stopped, the whole board stopped. Now that it has started back up again, a lot more action in the club threads, even between members of different clubs, has been going on. If a club doesn't have any atmosphere, even at the heart of simmage, then it is up to them to change that.
Exactly. Not budging from this. We don't have a problem with the comp being lopsided all the time; in fact I actually think the comp is too even at times.
The only good thing about the Vipers atm, is that their colours make me want to drink Orange Soda/Juice.
