    Nah, not referring to rep Footy just to NRL experience. He hasn't played many games either but just that extra bit would help him with the pressure.

    Pretty much where I was getting at. I just think that little bit of extra experience helps. Even though he has had a fair bit of it on the sidelines just being with the team helps out a lot. I don't mind who gets but personally I would love to see Coote get it but that is just because of by allegiance with Penrith.
    That is all I have got on that matter.


    Just read Robs post above, I get the message and as I already wrote about that is all I have to say.

    I don't mind Farah, met him once in real life and was actually a really nice bloke so kind of makes me ignore all the Lukic bs.

    Just reckon he'll get it because he's captain... more experience etc etc.

    Either that or they'll have a kick off at training and it could be anyone's.

    Perhaps Shane Rodney should be given a call as 18th man? Been solid for Manly and he kicked a few goals for Penrith a few years back and he was a little known backrower that won a comp.


    It's Hodkinson, Fulton and Coote all rolled into one.

    Yes it is. Since it has been brought back it hasn't been as good or serious. But go back and watch the games from the 80s and 90s. Read up on the Original concept. It is a ****ing serious game and I cheer ****ing hard for Country.

    Still think 2 bench players from either team should be 'true' players. Best 2 players from Country NSW (Group footy) get 2 bench spots (maybe an 18 man bench) and best 2 players from City (NSW or Metro Cup) get 2 City bench spots.
