Which squads failed to meet their expectations for whatever season they were playing? Couple of ones to get the ball rolling.... Lions (season 6) Stingrays (season 9) Gamblers (season 9 & 10)
Yeah definitely agree with Season 6 Lions, we sucked dick despite having so many of the best players at the time.
Gamblers did not under-achieve in Season 10. They were just slightly over-rated. Odds every week and for the premiership backed that up. They had a very good side that rightly made the semi-final but they did not have the best side going.
Since the formation of the PC, the only winners have been New South Wales and New South Wales City. We've lost Origin to Queensland a few times though.
Actually the Clones Season 7 is probably a better option than us. No way that squad shouldn't have won the Premiership, even if it was in freakish circumstances.
