    I'd rather 5 other players than Grothe, and I'd rather Grothe than Robertson who is, IMO, overrated.

    Well I'd put Robertson several rungs above Williams, and if he can make an Australian side I'm not sure how Robertson could be the one labelled overrated.

    Basically I see him as a much much better version of Steve Turner, and even he managed a NSW jersey.

    I think with Grothe, you have to weigh up his attacking potential against his defensive mistakes when comparing him against a player like Robertson who is much more defence orientated.

    That being said, Grothe is be far not good enough for a Rep jersey. Hayne would be ahead of him anyway.

    It depends on what you want in attack as well. If you want individual brilliance, go for someone like Folau, Vatuvei or Grothe, but if you want a finisher than the likes of Robertson, McManus and Nightingale would be just as serviceable, if not more so.

    With Lockyer, Thurston, Smith, Hunt etc., you'd probably want wingers who are orsm finishers. Lockyer and Kemp combined scary well last year.

    Agreed. Comes down to the centres really, if you have Inglis in the centres, you would only need a finisher on the outside really, whereas a more defensive centre you would look at someone like Folau, Hayne etc who can create something out of nothing.

    Also, what a load of shit, has shown that he is a rep quality winger. He's better than most of those named. Wait though, let's put more importance on club form than rep, we all know it's of a higher quality.

    When did Boyd ever show he is rep quality? He's never really been tested in defence, and all he's done is catch a few passes from Inglis while being in miles of open space.

    Chris Lawrence better get a spot in the centers. He's 1v1 defence is second to none in the centers. He's a good strong runner of the ball and has brilliant speed and finishing ability.

    Origin 2 and 3 last year. He did nothing wrong and did some good things. That's all you can ask for your winger outside inglis. He wasn't there to score 5 tries. He was safe and finished off well.
