Expect this kind of captaincy to continue, ftr. James owed me a couple of wickets for my catches in the first innings, anyway.
So what, you blocked out the first ball then the next ball it was the same over and someone else got out? Runout?
Absolutely epic from James, all this carrying the bat talk and how crap the sides you have played for are is overshadowing a great performance. (I once top scored with 5 off two deliveries...)
No, I did. Perhaps I worded that poorly, the number 9 tonked a few, then got out, and then the number 10 came in and hit a few more before getting out. And then, of course, the number 11 came out and did what he did best, playing uselessly.
palm I was on the non strikers, then 5 balls passed and then we ran for a bye or leg bye I think, therefore he is on strike again for the next over.
All the balls he listed happened after the ball he blocked. A wicket fell of the fifth ball of an over, then he came in, blocked a ball, then what he typed happened. Over 1 - ? ? ? ? W . (Lukic came in to face the sixth ball of the over) Over 2 - W . W W W 1 (Lukic didn't face a ball, then the #10 took a single to steal strike) Over 3 - W W (Innings ended)
BTW Cribb, do you know where I was fielding when I took the catches off James? I was thinking I might have been in the slips somewhere, which would mean James had 1 caught behind, 1 bowled, 1 LBW & 3 caught in slips for his 6 wickets in the first innings. I guess this is the case regardless of where I was fielding, but that's fairly dominant stuff.
