Nah I reckon Fiery was the right call. Nova could put in a really good performance for the grade with either bat or ball - or both - but Fiery is a class above and could just completely take 7/12 in both innings or something if things went well. He could really just win the match by himself in that regard. Nova if he performs might hit a ton and take 5/85 or something but he won't destroy them.
So keen for this! Would love to see the cobs put up a fight and on a personal note, start my season with a big score. Nova and Fiery have the potential to win this on their own, but if myself, James and witters can do a bit this year we'll be more than ok.
Can't wait to make my debut for the Cobras in what will hopefully be a successful season for us. Being new to the comp I don't no many of the names but looking at the betting for the match it looks like we're clear underdogs
It's almost a shame to go to ten teams next season. All the clubs are so strong, at least in terms of activity.
